Hospitality Manager

RESPONSIBLITIES

Hospitality Management

  • Provide excellent service to all members and guests
  • Manage front of house operation and staff
  • Hire, train, and schedule all front of house staff including bartenders, servers, beverage cart, and banquet staff
  • Implement improved hospitality operational procedures and standards

Banquet and Beverage Sales & Management

  • Handle banquet and event sales leads
  • Coordinate banquet event orders and services
  • Manage beverage inventory and banquet supplies
  • Create and promote F&B specials and events utilizing email campaigns, social media, brochures, flyers, table tents, direct mail flyers and other means

Membership Sales & Management

  • Manage social membership programs and assist with club membership
  • Prospect and solicit Winding Creek residents, area neighborhood HOAs, Chamber of Commerce, and local businesses & organizations
  • Implement and execute programs to add value to the overall club experience, including club social events and weekly dinner specials
  • Engage active members for referrals and recruiting new members
  • Follow-up on membership leads and referrals

Additional Management Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily golf operations including outings as needed
  • Assist with updating point of sale and website regarding memberships, dining and banquets
  • Attend management, staff, and club committee meetings
  • Serve as manager on duty for daily club operation as scheduled, including opening and closing procedures
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Club Operations

REQUIREMENTS

  • A gracious, friendly, patient and helpful attitude towards guests
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a very busy environment
  • Working knowledge of food and beverage laws and regulations
  • Indiana ATC servers permit
  • Must be available to work a diverse schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • ~50+ hours per week during season (May-Oct)
Bartender/Server

Coyote Crossing Golf Club is currently seeking passionate and energetic individuals for the part-time position of Bartender / Server.  Previous experience is preferred but not required.  Duties include serving beverages and food orders to members and guests in the restaurant, executing banquet services, and maintaining a clean environment.  A valid driver’s license and ATC permit is required.  We offer our staff a fun, fast-paced working environment, competitive wages, networking opportunities, and of course, golf privileges.  Interested individuals are encouraged to apply online.

RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Provide excellent service to all members and guests with a positive and friendly attitude
  • Take food and drink orders from guests accurately
  • Knowledge of menu with ability to make suggestive upsells
  • Full bar service including beer, wine, and cocktails
  • Check guests identification to ensure they are of legal age
  • Maintain inventory and bar supplies
  • Produce beverage orders in a quick and efficient manner
  • Accurately prepare checks and receive payment from guests
  • Setup, serve, bus, and clean-up banquet events
  • Operate on-course beverage cart
  • Assist with food preparation staff when necessary

REQUIREMENTS

Kitchen - Line/Prep Cook

Coyote Crossing Golf Club is currently seeking qualified individuals for the part-time position of Kitchen Line / Prep Cook.  Primary duties include preparing meals according to our chef’s standard expectations, setting up the prep station, stocking inventory, and maintaining sanitation standards. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidates will possess excellent communication and multi-tasking skills.  We offer our staff a fun, fast-paced working environment, competitive wages, networking opportunities, and of course, golf privileges.  Interested individuals are encouraged to apply online.

RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Follow the prep list created by the chef and kitchen manager
  • Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible
  • Measure ingredients and seasonings to be used in cooking
  • Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat etc.
  • Undertake basic cooking duties such as reducing sauces, par cooking food etc.
  • Prepare simple dishes such as salads, sandwiches, entrees etc.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash etc.
  • Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines
  • Perform other kitchen duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as prep cook
  • Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen
  • Manual dexterity able to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils
  • A team player with good communication skills
  • Patience with an ability to stay positive under pressure
  • High school diploma or equivalent is desired; Training from a culinary school is preferred
Kitchen - Dishes/Utility Worker

Coyote Crossing Golf Club is currently seeking dedicated individuals for the part-time position of Kitchen Dish / Utility Worker.  Primary responsibilities include washing soiled plates and flatware thoroughly, restocking dish storage, and supporting the chef and kitchen staff.  Other duties may include unloading delivery trucks, helping prepare cook stations, cleaning appliances and machines, emptying and cleaning trash receptacles, and other duties as needed. Successful candidates should be a committed, communicative team player with excellent time management skills, and should be able to prioritize tasks in a busy setting and adhere to all food safety regulations and procedures.  We offer our staff a fun, fast-paced working environment, competitive wages, networking opportunities, and of course, golf privileges.  Interested individuals are encouraged to apply online.

RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Ensuring the availability of clean dishes by bussing tables, washing dishes, pots, pans, and flatware, and resetting dining areas.
  • Preparing dining areas and kitchen for next shift by cleaning and restocking dining areas and cook stations.
  • Cleaning machines and appliances used in the kitchen, such as coffee makers, pots, and pans, mixers, etc.
  • Unloading and storing deliveries.
  • Sweeping and mopping floors, especially in the event that items are broken or spilled.
  • Taking out the trash and rinsing garbage cans.
  • Supporting other restaurant staff members by assisting with other tasks, as needed.
  • Reporting kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong problem solving and communication skills.
  • Exceptional time management skills.
  • Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts and lift at least 20 pounds.
  • Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience desired, but not required.
